What ages are your youth programs for?
Our youth programs are designed for ages 14-25, with specific age groups for each program. We offer junior programs (14-17), youth programs (16-22), and young adult programs (18-25). All programs are supervised by experienced leaders with appropriate staff-to-student ratios.
What safety measures are in place?
Safety is our top priority. We maintain 24/7 supervision, have certified first-aid trained staff, conduct thorough risk assessments, provide comprehensive travel insurance, and maintain emergency protocols. All activities are led by qualified instructors, and we have established partnerships with local medical facilities.
Can parents join or visit during the program?
Our youth programs are designed as independent experiences for participants. However, we offer specific family programs and can arrange parent visits for certain programs with advance notice. We maintain regular communication with parents through updates and photos.
What qualifications do your leaders have?
All our leaders are experienced professionals with backgrounds in education, outdoor leadership, or youth development. They hold relevant certifications including Wilderness First Responder, CPR, and have extensive experience working with youth in Tanzania. Our leaders speak both English and Swahili.
